Nitin Sawhney and Akram Khan present a dazzling new festival of Indian music and dance at London's Sadler's Wells.
Svapnagata at Sadler's Wells
Sadler's Wells welcomes over 60 of the finest Indian and British Asian musicians, dancers and choreographers to join its new India festival.
Svapnagata, which means dreaming in Sanskrit, is curated by multi-award winning composer Nitin Sawhney and dancer/choreographer Akram Khan.
Svapnagata highlights include:

- International Sitar star and Grammy nominee Anoushka Shankar
- The world premiere of Confluence, a collaboration between Sawhney and Khan
- Former child prodigy and electric mandolin player U Shrinivas
- Riz MC, better known as British actor and musician Riz Ahmed, presenting an intimate evening of music

The Svapnagata festival springs into life with Nitin Sawhney's Acoustic Evening and Akram Khan: Gnosis.

Meet the Stars at Svapnagata
As well as seeing vibrant performances, you can join the stars in a debate about the festival.
Taking place before Confluence on 28 November, the pre-show talk features a panel of guests, including Akram Khan and Nitin Sawhney. The event is curated and chaired by award-winning Guardian journalist Maya Jaggi.
